GREENFIELD — The Greenfield City Council this week approved the annexation of the Hill Grove addition.
The annexation affects approximately 35 acres of land on East Main Street and Morristown Pike and 25 homes.
The homes will be switched from septic tanks to city sewers in an effort to keep the old systems from draining sewage into the Brandywine Creek.
The annexation was approved 5-0. Council members Judy Swift and Mitch Pendlum were absent.
