Richard L Reeves, 88, of Anderson, went to be with his heavenly Father on Sept. 16, 2015, at his residence. He was born on April 14, 1927, in Westport, Ind., and resided most of his life in Anderson.

He served his country in the Navy during WWII and the Korean War.

He retired in 1992, as a Project Manager for Guide Lamp after 39 years of service. He was past president of the Brotherhood and Sisterhood of Wilkinson, member of Shirley Masonic Lodge and volunteered many years for Contact Help. He enjoyed model railroading, fishing and hunting.

Richard is survived by his loving spouse, Patricia Reeves; children, Roderick (Debbie) Reeves of Anderson and Angela (Scott) Disser of Greenfield; sister, Marilyn Wright; grandchildren Adrian (Renae) Reeves, Jennifer Reeves, Cole Disser and Brock Disser; great-grandchildren, Lawrence Ward, Adrienne Reeves, Andrew Reevesand several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Reeves; father, Karl Reeves; brother, George Reeves and grandson, Jordan Reeves.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, Indiana. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will take place in the McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson with military rites.
