Peggy J. Moore, 65, of Greenfield, passed away Sept. 9, 2015. She was born July 13, 1950, in Indianapolis, to Ralph and Helen Moore. Peggy graduated from Eastern Hancock schools as a member of the Class of 1968 and married the love of her life, James C. Moore on September 20, 1968.
She worked at Greenfield Central schools for many years and later for Wal-Mart in Greenfield. Above all, Peggy was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Helen Moore of Greenfield; son, Timothy (Beth) Moore of Greenfield; daughter, Lisa Caudill of Fort Wayne; four sisters, Judy (John) Hunt of Carthage, Janet (Doug) Fleming of Greenfield, Marsha (Russell) White of Greenfield, Sandy (Dick) Robertson of Greenfield; one brother, Jim (Nancy) Moore of Sullivan, Ill.; grandson, Dakota of Angola, Ind., and a multitude of nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James C. Moore; infant son, Keith; father, Ralph Moore and nephew, Jay Fleming.
A memorial service will be held at Charlottesville United Methodist Church on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. in Charlottesville, IN.
