HANCOCK COUNTY – The 69th annual Schwier family reunion was recently conducted at the Tucker Farm, 1906 W. County Road 400S, Greenfield.
Those in attendance were the descendants of the 10 children of Friedrich Wilhelm and Christine Marie Lenore (Rosener) Schwier, whose farm was located on the northwest corner of county roads 300S and 700W in New Palestine.
The family is now in its sixth generation, and 173 people participated in the reunion — some visiting from as far away as California.

Don Schwier, 92, was the oldest in attendance. Cora Mae Tucker, 3 months, was the youngest.
