Betty Jean (Ritchie) Clevenger Chalmers, 75, of Fortville, died on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015. She was born on March 2, 1940, in Fort Branch, Ind., as the daughter of Henry and Pauline (Frances) Ritchie.
Betty is survived by her son, Rob (Patti Creech) Clevenger; brother, Jerry Ritchie; sisters, Claudine Shoopman and Kay Arbuckle and two granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Pauline (Frances) Ritchie and husband, Gerry Chalmers
A memorial gathering will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 124 E. Staat Street, Fortville, IN 46040.
