Stylie R. Morris, 82, of New Palestine, passed away Sept. 13, 2015. He was born Dec. 4, 1932, in Warrick County, to the late Glenn and Amy Pharis Morris. Stylie was a 1950 graduate of Chrisney High School, Chrisney, Ind. He married Betty J. Hesson, Sept. 26, 1954, and she preceded him in death Aug. 24, 2011.
He was employed with Monarch Beverage for 20 years, retiring as Warehouse Manager in 1996. Stylie was a longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Stylie is survived by his loving children, Linda K. (Guy) Suesz , Gwen E. (John) McWhorter and Brian K. (Dawn) Morris; grandchildren, Mark W. Suesz, Roger Todd (Deanna) Suesz, Kyle L. (Jonelle) Orr, Morgan M. McWhorter, Katie L. Michael B. and Kara N. Morris; sister, Jackie Woodruff and ten great- grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by a son, Roger A. Morris; brothers, Charles, Claudie, Ernie and R.C. Morris; sister, Shirley Bell and a great-granddaughter, Parker Suesz.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, from 4 – 8 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015, at Noon.
