GREENFIELD — A series of peeping-Tom reports led police to arrest a Greenfield man this week on charges of criminal trespassing and public voyeurism.

Greenfield police said they found John G. Dean II, 33, walking through private property and looking into the windows of homes on the city’s east side twice in the same week, Detective Lt. Randy Ratliff said.

Dean was found him in the 400 block of Apple Street on Monday following a report of a suspicious person in the area. He was given a warning for trespassing, police said.

Police were called to Apple Street again the next day and found Dean looking into the living room window of a home. Dean fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody, Ratliff said.

The charges Dean faces are both misdemeanors; he pleaded not guilty in court Wednesday.
