Leona M. (Hamilton) Kelley, 82, of Rushville, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. She was born on Aug. 12, 1933, in Cromwell, Minn., as the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Carlson) Hamilton. Leona married Edgar L. Kelley on Dec. 25, 1975, in Knightstown.
Leona worked for RCA as an assembler for many years and she was also a housewife. She was a member of the Shelbyville American Legion Auxiliary.
Leona is survived by her sons, Rick (Mariann) Ricketts of Greenfield, Chuck (Sammie) Eddleman of Evant, TX, and Bob Martin of Bloomington, Ind.; brother, Stacey Hamilton of Alabama; sisters, Gloria Morris of Texas and Julia Young of Missouri; four grandchildren, Nathan, Michael, Chris, and Rob; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Claire, Kage, Kora, and Davian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gertrude Hamilton; husband, Edgar L. Kelley and brother, Nathan Hamilton.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at Park Cemetery, 621 South State Street, Greenfield, IN, 46140. Chaplain Russ Jarvis will be officiating.
