Vernon in Week 3 but was unable to put the Marauders away in overtime … The Cougars led 14-7 at half and lost 20-14 after not scoring for nearly three quarters of play, including overtime … Starting quarterback Jeremiah Fields was 3-for-4 passing for 28 yards and a touchdown … The senior also rushed for a 4-yard scamper in the first quarter … Running backs Andy Kim and Michael Sosnowski combined for 105 yards on the ground … Pendleton Heights began its season 0-2 but used a 31-13 win against Hoosier Heritage Conference foe New Castle in Week 3 to improve to 1-2 … The Arabians scored in every quarter of play, including 14 in the second … Quarterback Jarrod Hubble was 7-for-17 for 162 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception … Running backs Logan Drye and Chase Cochran combined for 250 rushing yards and two scores in the win … Drye also had 50 yards through the air … In last year’s win, Greenfield-Central scored 13 points before half and in the third quarter to earn the win at home … Fields rushed for 23 yards and two scores as Kim led the team with 54 rushing yards … Hubble was 7-for-15 for 91 yards with a touchdown and interception.
