CUMBERLAND — The Cumberland Police Department honored two Hancock County officials for their work in law enforcement to keep county residents safe.
Hancock County Prosecutor Brent Eaton and former Sheriff’s Sgt. Karen Robinson, who handled the sex offender registry for the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and recently moved to a position at the county’s dispatch center, were named Cumberland’s 2015 Crime Fighters of the Year.
Cumberland Police Chief Mike Crooke presented Eaton and Robinson with their awards at the Cumberland Town Council Meeting on Wednesday. Crooke thanked both for the hard work they put into keeping the area safe.
