Timothy James Schisler, 31, of Greenfield, died on Aug. 29, 2015, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Timmy, the son of Angela Riddle of Greenfield and Lee Schisler of Maxwell, was born on May 20, 1984, in Peoria, Ill.

Tim graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 2002. He worked at IAF in Greenfield for 10 years. He was an amateur comedian and performed at Crackers in Broad Ripple. Tim was Operations Manager and “Employee of the Year” with Dark Star Pyrotactics. He was very proud of his podcast, Inconclusive Breakdown. He served as a volunteer firefighter for the Ingalls Fire Department for several years.

Timmy was a diehard Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Blackhawks fan. He was a talented meat-smoker and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. His other hobbies included golf, the shooting range, and his truck – the big blue Dodge 1500.

Tim is survived by his parents and one sister, Mande (Jesse) Norman; one niece, Bella (aka Princess Stinky Butt) and two nephews, Evan (aka The Boy) and Quin (aka Big Marv), whom he adored. He also leaves behind a grandmother and Bingo Buddy, Joan Lodwick; five aunts; three uncles; cousins and countless dear friends. He was loved by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Lodwick and Bill and Irene Schisler; his cousin, Cory Lodwick and uncle, Josh Walker.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 515 Jefferson Blvd, Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
