Reds win GYBA Major League championship

GREENFIELD — The Reds rolled through the regular season and their tournament to capture the 2015 championship.

Competing in the Greenfield Youth Baseball Association’s Major League, the Reds finished 13-2 in the regulars-season standings under the guidance of coaches Kent Wise, Billy Fish, Nathan Padgett, Darren Wise and Richard Garrett.

The team included Gabe Clifton, Matthew Gluys, Jaden Padgett, Clayton Wesley, Danny Morris, Cameron Wise, Hunter Lowe, Colby Fish, Braiden Gray, Jacob Steinmetz and Josh Robbins.

The Cubs (9-6) were second in the GYBA Major League standings. The Indians (7-8) were third. The Yankees (7-8) took fourth. The Rockies (6-9) finished fifth, and the Astros (3-12) were sixth.
