Harold Dean Kleiman, 71, of New Palestine, passed away Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born March 12, 1944, in Indianapolis, to Lewis Kleiman and Helen Lucile (McCormick) Kleiman.

He later met and married his wife of 11 years, Kathy Kleiman, who survives. Harold was a graduate of New Palestine High School. After completing his education, he went into the radio/communications business with WSMJ/KISS 99 Radio.

Harold then worked for Executone Communications for 20 years and later was self-employed, owning his own business HK Cabling for several years before his retirement. He was also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in New Palestine.

In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his sons, Eric Kleiman and Jeremy Kleiman; daughters, Barbara Colvin and Beverly Wyatt; two stepchildren, Amanda McAloon and Steven McAloon; 11 grandchildren, as well as two great- grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gale Kleiman.

Visitation for Harold will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at Hendryx Mortuary – New Palestine Chapel, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, IN 46163. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in New Palestine.
