Corinne Nicole, 11, and her brother, Thomas Cordell Horn, 5, were welcomed into the arms of Jesus suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015. Corinne was born May 26, 2004, in Newton, Mass. and Thomas was born Feb. 25, 2010, in Avon, to the late Joseph Lindel Horn and Candice Lynn (Crose) Horn.

Both were students at Tri Elementary School, Corinne in the sixth grade and Thomas in Kindergarten. Corinne had previously attended Maxwell Intermediate School in Greenfield and Thomas had attended Little Blessings Preschool at Park Chapel in Greenfield.

Corinne loved to laugh and be the class clown. She loved animals, especially her Norwegian Elk Hound, “Puddin,” her two cats, “Sugar” and “China” she adopted from the Greenfield Humane Society, her beloved Chinchilla, “Chili” and horses. She enjoyed music, dance, gymnastics and cheer. She loved drawing, art, the color Teal Blue and mermaids.

Thomas was a natural born entertainer, who loved FaceTiming family and friends (even when he should have been sleeping) and taking video selfies. He was loved by all his friends and classmates, whom he referred to as “his clients.” Thomas loved the outdoors, riding his bike, skateboarding, drawing, playing with Playdough and singing up front in preschool.

Corinne and Thomas had many friends they loved, but were closest to their cousins.

They will forever remain in the hearts of their loving mom, Candice (Crose) Horn; grandma, Joy (Wright) Hardacre of New Castle; grandparents, Thomas A. and Lesa Crose of Farmland; great- grandma, Pat Wright of Luray; aunt, Carri (Chad) Anderson of Isle of Palms, S.C; cousins, Grace, Emma and Violet Anderson; uncle, Joshua (Shana) Cooper of Morehead, Ky.; cousin, Kylee Cooper; great- uncle, Terry (Lora) Wright of New Castle and great- aunts, Jeanette McIntire of Muncie and Carolyn (husband: Teddy) Combs of Oakville.

Corinne and Thomas arrived in heaven to the hugs of their great- grandparents, Doyle Wright and Rev. Hobert and Irene Crose and stepgrandfather, Roger Hardacre.

Friends may call from 2- 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at First Baptist Church in New Castle with Rev. Steve Helm officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Summit Cemetery.
