INDIANAPOLIS — The newest exhibit at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis focuses on pilgrimages that transform the lives of those who take them. National Geographic’s “Sacred Journeys” allows children and families to develop a broader cultural awareness and appreciation of the diversity among the world’s religious traditions. National Geographic photography and artifacts from a variety of faith traditions — including fragments of the Dead Sea scrolls, a stone from the Western Wall, and ritual objects taken into space by astronaut David Wolf — enhance the experience. This exhibit opens Saturday. Visit childrensmuseum.org for more information.
