FORTVLLE — The Mt. Vernon High School class of 1985 will host a 30th class reunion from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 19 at the home of Alan and Elizabeth Alford, 10521 N. County Road 50W, Fortville.
A social hour will be 6 to 7 p.m.
A catered barbecue dinner will be served from 7 to 8 p.m. Menu includes pulled pork, slaw, red beans and rice, red skinned potatoes, chips and a chocolate chip cookie. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite beverage.
A class photo will be taken at 8 p.m.
A tent will be provided, and the event will take place rain or shine.
There will also be a DJ playing music from the 1980s and taking requests.
This is a casual event organized by Angie Clark Hubble, Dee Ann Holland Nicholson and Alan Alford.
