GREENFIELD — An Indianapolis man was arrested this week after a relative reported they had sex in the front seat of the man’s car, police said.

Nicholas Redd-Klingsmith, 20, was arrested on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor and incest. He was being held in the Hancock County jail a $5,000 cash bond.

The girl told police she and Redd-Klingsmith met for the first time in the spring and began exchanging messages over social media, court documents state. Eventually those messages became sexual in nature, the girl told police, and the pair made plans to meet for sex near her Greenfield home.

In the messages obtained by police, the girl tells Redd-Klingsmith she is underage, and Redd-Klingsmith comments he could be arrested if the two go through with the act, court records show.

When interviewed by police, Redd-Klingsmith denied the girl’s accusation, court documents state.
