Elmer A. Collins, 87, of Wilkinson, passed away Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at his residence. He was born May 3, 1928, in McCordsville, the son of the late Ivan and Leola (Wilson) Collins.

Elmer retired as an Independent truck driver after 40 years of service.

Survivors include, daughters, Kim (Gaylen) Reason of Greenfield, Tina (James) Simmons of Greenfield; grandsons, Chris Reason (Amy) of Douglasville, Ga., Cory Reason Greenfield, Michael (Cheryl) Simmons of Springfield, Va., Matthew (Sarah) Simmons of Greenfield, Mason Simmons of Greenfield, Justin (Allison) Cart of Greenfield; seven great- grandchildren; uncle, George Collins of Greenfield; cousin, John and Pam Reilly of Knightstown; sister-in-law, Judy (Ed) Weaver of Spiceland.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Cheryl (Collins) Thompson; granddaughter, Christina Reason.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Ind., with Russ Lutes officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
