Gerry Ann Jennings, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away on Aug. 2, 2015. She was born Dec. 2, 1946, in Indianapolis, to Garland E. and Inez Marie Lewis, who precede her in death.
She was the "#1" daughter in law to Robert & Rosemary Jennings who also preceded her in death. Gerry was a very kind, happy, selfless person who uplifted everyone she came in contact with. She was a very devoted wife, mother and mamaw.
She was a real estate Broker for 25 years. She drove for Meals on Wheels for years. She volunteered at Holy Spirit, St. Michaels, and Fatima. She was a breast cancer survivor.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, of 48 years, Bob; her children, Jennifer (Dan) Klase, Adrienne (Scott) Gale and Ryan (Michelle) Jennings; brother, Robert (Joyce) Lewis; sister, Teresa (Douglas) Steele; grandchildren, Andrew, Anna, Morgan, Lily, Kyle, and Julia.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, in Greenfield. Contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
