A story in the Wednesday edition of the paper, “Digital learning: Greenfield-Central to buy laptops for fifth-graders, A1, contained unclear information. The intermediate level’s new Chromebooks are designated for fifth-graders because their class will be the first seventh-graders, two years from now, to receive take-home computers as part of the district’s phased-in one-to-one computing program. Administrators are introducing Chromebooks now in an effort to ease students into the technology.
