Ryan Philip Gallet, 26, of Greenfield, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was born on Feb. 20, 1989, in Indianapolis, as the son of Larry E. and Marcia E. (Bennett) Gallet. He graduated from Indianapolis Metropolitan High School in 2008.

Ryan was baptized at First Church of the Nazarene and was an Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout Project, he designated the First Church of the Nazarene as a Red Cross Disaster Shelter and it was used shortly after his completion. He enjoyed listening to music, fishing, eating, and playing video games.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Larry and Marcia Gallet; brother, Brandon Gallet; aunts, Lynn Wybiral and Vicki Slunaker; aunts & uncles, Ron and Sandy Gallet, Tom and Sue Rhoads, and Chris and Darla Blessing; 10 cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his uncles, Tom Wybiral and Duane Slunaker; grandparents, Nile and Phyllis Bennett and Tee and Jerry Gallet and cousin, Becky Clouse.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2015, at the mortuary. Pastor Scott Pittman will be officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
