Kenneth Gregory, 73, of Shirley, passed away Tuesday evening, July 14, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospice in Greenfield. He was born Oct. 5, 1941, in New Castle, the son of the late Roy and Martha (McLane) Gregory.
Kenneth retired in 1999 from Delco Remy in Anderson, after 38 years of service. He was a Scout Master for Troop # 459 in Kennard, Assistant Chief of the Kennard Volunteer Fire Dept. and loved coaching little league for years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo Gregory of Kennard; son, Steve (Terri) Gregory of Washington, Ind.; daughter, Lana (Derek) Towle of Greenfield; son, John Gregory of Greenfield; grandchildren, Justin (Bridget) Gregory, Cameron, Jack Gregory, Brendon, Bryce, Paige Towle and Collin Gregory; great- grandchildren, Liam and Nora Gregory; brothers, Clifford Gregory, Ron (Wava) Gregory and sister, Joyce (Don) Smith.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bobby Gregory.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Pastor Brent Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. Sunday afternoon, July 19, 2015.
