Rondal “Ron” Spencer, 91, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation – Greenfield. He was born on July 20, 1923, in Greenfield as the son of Frank E. and Ruth (Goble) Spencer.
He graduated from Greenfield High School. He served in the Army during World War II.
He worked for Naval Avionics and Chrysler for many years. Mr.Spencer was a member of American Legion #495 of Indianapolis and VFW Post #2693 of Greenfield.
Ron is survived by his siblings, June E. Caldwell of Greenfield and Ken Spencer of Greenwood and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank E. and Ruth (Goble) Spencer; brother, Frank E. Spencer, Jr. and three sisters, Patty Ruth Spencer, Helen Matoka, and Margie Spencer.
