Hans Walter Schultz, 107, of New Palestine, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015. Hans was born June 5, 1908, in Lapaz, Ind., to Alfred and Hildegard Wilhelmenia Schultz. Hans met and married Helen Maxine Schultz, who preceded him in death. Hans later met and married Anastasia Rowe Schultz, who also preceded him in death.

Hans graduated from Ft. Wayne Lutheran Seminary in 1932, St. Louis Lutheran Seminary in 1935, and Chicago Institute of Technology in 1936.

Hans worked in production control at Jungclause Corporation and was also employed as an estimator at Chambers Aircraft in Shelbyville, Ind.

Surviving Hans are his three sons, Robert Coffin (Loretta) of Tell City, Thomas Schultz of New Palestine and James Schultz of Indianapolis, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wives, Hans was preceded in death by sons, Charles and Wallace Schultz and sisters Elizabeth Blair and Dorethea Roller.

Visitation for Mr. Schultz will be from 3 – 7 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015, at Hendryx Mortuary, New Palestine Chapel 19 E. Main St. New Palestine, IN. 46163. Funeral service for Hans Schultz will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at  Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W. 300 S. New Palestine, IN  46163. Burial is immediately following the funeral service at New Palestine Cemetery.
