Marla K. (Jack) Turner, 49, of Marion, Ind., passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Ball Memorial Hospital, in Muncie. She was born in Elwood, Ind., to the living Rolland L. and late Marilyn Lou (Browning) Jack. She married Chris Turner on April 30, 1988, he survives.

Marla was a graduate of Oak Hill High School. She then worked at Oak Hill Schools, Comfort Suites, United Technologies, and for the last 25 years, Marion General Hospital. She was loved by all of her coworkers.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing with her pride and joy, her 5 year old granddaughter, Annalise Turner. She loved going to festivals and parades, and was the hit of any party with anyone she came in contact with. She loved dancing with her partner, Shannon Sutton at the Tipton Pork Festival, by whom she will be sadly missed.

She loved country music, especially Trace Adkins. She was a caring wife to her husband, Chris, and loving mother to her two sons, Bryan and Bradley.

In addition to her husband, and two sons, Marla is survived by her father, Rolland, of Greenfield; siblings, Patty Jack and Mark Jack, both of Marion, Kim (Jack) Shane, of Columbus and Teresa (Jack) Cooper, of Jonesboro and half-sister, Rebecca Jack, of Connersville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn and her grandparents.

Services for Marla will be held at 2 p.m., on Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church, 2171 W. Chapel Pike, Marion, IN 46952 with Revs. Steve Colter, Dave Parker and Matthew Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, in Windfall, Ind.

Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m., on Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. Marion, IN 46952.

As per request of the family, memorial contributions may be directed towards the funeral home, to cover expenses.
