Susan Elaine Condo, 46, of Wilkinson, passed away July 3, 2015, at her residence. She was born September 3, 1968, in Greenfield, the daughter of George and Amy Condo.
Susan was a 1987 graduate of Eastern Hancock High School and attended Indiana Business College. She spent most of her youth training and racing her father’s quarter horses. She and her father ran Condo and Son Ambulance Service, was an EMT for 20 years and did all the bookwork and billing for the service. She was secretary-treasurer of Condo and Son, Inc. Funeral Home and helped manage Condo Farms.
Susan was a member of the Wilkinson Church of Christ, Lilac Literary Club of Wilkinson and Hancock County Board of Health.
Susan barrel raced, was a jockey and as a member of the Apple Dumpling Gang, showed horses in 4-H. She was an avid horse and dog lover. She loved being involved with her community and also enjoyed camping and riding horses with her two sons.
Survivors include two sons, Joshua Stillinger (girlfriend, Brittany Feltner) of Wilkinson and Jordan Stillinger of Wilkinson; brother, Harold Condo (fiancé, Jama Gosser); maternal grandmother, Fannie Dunn of Wilkinson; extended family, Kathy Robinson and Jean Potts, who graciously donated Susan a kidney, which gave us many more years with her.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Harold and Elizabeth Condo and maternal grandfather, Walter Dunn.
Friends may call at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson from 2 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Condo and Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson with Ryan McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery.
