Ruth D. Rihm, 90, of Greenfield passed away Saturday July 4, 2015, at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Ind. She was born Nov. 22, 1924 in Indianapolis, to the late John T. & Cecilia C. (Weingartner) Dwyer.
She was a graduate of Shortridge High School, a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Greenfield, Psi Iota Xi Auxiliary, Woman’s Association of the Greenfield Country Club, homemaker, volunteer for Hancock Regional Hospital among other organizations, an avid golfer, bridge player and reader.
She is survived by her husband, Dorvin F. Rihm of Greenfield, whom she married on May 30, 1947; son, Daniel D. (Sheila) Rihm of Avon; daughter, Nancy A. (Gene) Leffler of Franklin; three grandchildren, Matt Bennett, Katie Day, Chris Rihm and three great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Julia Dwyer and Mary VanCleave.
Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at St Michael Catholic Church, Greenfield with visitation from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
