JoAnn May Bateman, 84, of Morristown, died Sunday, June 28, 2015. She was born May 22, 1931, in Indianapolis, the daughter of James N. Sr. and Margaret C. (Grannemann) Bateman.
JoAnn is survived by her two nieces; a nephew; a sister-in-law; and several great- nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James N. Bateman, Jr.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown, with an Eastern Star service at 12:45 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday July 2, 2015, with Pastor Michael Harroll officiating. Interment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
