Ralph James Fancher, 73, of Fortville, died Monday, June 15, 2015. He was born on Nov. 4, 1941, in Peoria, Ill., as the son of Cecil J. Fancher and Fern Garnet Irene (Perrill) Fancher Mattox.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Sue Ann Fancher of Fortville; son, Ralph James Fancher, Jr. of Fortville; daughter, Lori Ann Fancher Huff of Decatur, In; brother, Garry Lee Fancher of Sadorus, Ill.; sisters, Carol Sue Dixon and Janet K. Butler both of Ill. and one grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil J. Fancher and Fern Garnet Irene (Perrill) Fancher Mattox and sister, Judith Ann Howard.
Visitation will be held from 4 – 8 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the mortuary. Chaplain Mark Watkins will be officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
