Mary R. “Becky” Nolan, 70, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospice. She was born June 1, 1945, in Greenfield, to the late Forrest and Virginia (Ewing) Murphy.

Becky was a graduate of Hancock Central High School and the Approved University Beauty College. She married Richard T. “Dick” Nolan on Jan. 22, 1967, in Greenfield, where they made their home for the last 48 years.

She was a hairdresser for 35 years prior to her retirement in 2000 at Northgate Beauty Salon, Haircutters Edge and New Image.  Becky was a member of Mohawk United Methodist Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Sigma Beta Rho, Hancock Salon 57, Femmes. She was an avid reader, craft maker, loved to crochet,and was a big I.U. fan.

Becky is survived by her husband Dick Nolan of Greenfield, brother; Greg (Vera) Murphy, sisters; Marilyn Gant, Paula (Richard) Hunt, Ginny (Charles) Martin all of Greenfield and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Jenkins.

Friends may call 4-8 pm, Thursday, June 18th at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday at the funeral home with burial immediately following at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
