Edward “Ed” L. Sheffield, 65, of Greenfield, died June 4, 2015. He was born on May 26, 1950, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Ed and Joyce Sheffield. Ed joined the Marines, where he proudly served for 9 years before transferring to the Navy, where he finished his service, retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his mom, Joyce; children, Cheerful, Daniel (Kristie), Edward II (Stacie); eight grandchildren; an aunt and many other family members.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis.
