Angela Gaye Cox, 45, of Fountaintown, passed away June 7, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born Sept. 11, 1969, in Greenfield to Raymond Sleeth and Gertie (Ward) Sleeth. She later met and previously married to Mark Cox, and they had one son together.
Angela attended and graduated from Morristown High School. She was a homemaker, who loved caring for animals and spending time with her dog, Jack and her cat, Trevor.
Angela is survived by her sister, Robin Survant of New Palestine; sister, Marlena Nelson of Carmel; nephews, Nick Survant, Sean Nelson and Christopher Jackson; nieces, Taylor Nelson and Alyssa Jackson and her two companions her dog, Jack; and her cat, Trevor.
She was preceded in death by her son, Kile Cox; her parents; her brother, Whaylon Sleeth; two sisters, Christy Sleeth and Cindy Sleeth.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service. Services for Angela will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday June 13, 2015, at Hendryx Mortuary, 19 E. Main St., New Palestine, IN. 46163. Burial will be at New Palestine Cemetery immediately following the funeral.
Memorial Contributions may be made in Angela’s name to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
