GREENFIELD — State Sen. Mike Crider, R-Greenfield, recently was chosen to participate in the 21st annual Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development in Madison, Wisconsin.
The institute is a leadership training program for legislators. Since 1995, more than 675 legislators have graduated from the program.
Crider will join lawmakers from Indiana, 10 other Midwestern states and four Canadian provinces.
The program will focus on a variety of public-policy issues, including the economy, education and health care.
