Board hires company for street paving

GREENFIELD — Streets in Greenfield will get a little TLC this summer.

The Greenfield Board of Works and Public Safety this week voted to hire Crim and Sons Inc. for this summer’s street paving project.

The plans call for work on 14 streets at a cost of about $173,000. The company’s bid was the lowest on the project, and it has done work for the city in the past, street commissioner Tyler Rankins said.
