Charlene Jones, 70, of Fortville, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at Carmel Health and Living Center. She was born Dec. 16, 1944, in Indianapolis.
She had been a homemaker and worked with the HEAD Start program in Fortville for many years.
She is survived by children, Ray Gentry Miles of Anderson, Keith (Terri) Rapier of Griffin, Ga. and Kevin G. (fiancé Heather Weatherholtz) Rapier of Greenwood; grandchildren, Courtney E. Miles, Jesica Rapier, Samatha Rapier, Korbin Rapier, Tiffany Rapier, Kelci Rapier, Katelyn Neal-Crist; great- grandson, Aiden Whitener; brother, Dennis (Cindy) Crist of Tipton and sister-in-law, Sharon Crist of Fortville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Crist, mother, Dortha (Lindamood) Clark and brother, Charlie Crist, Jr.
Friends may call at the funeral home on 5 p.m. until time of services on Friday. A Celebration of Charlene’s life will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville.
