Sectional admission: $6.
Advancement to regional: First-, second- and third-place sectional winners in all individual events and relays plus any individual or relay team meeting the three Participant Standard in the sectional finals of their event. If the top three finishers plus three Participant Standard advancers in an event is less than 16, the next best performances from the corresponding sectionals are added to bring the total number of regional entrants to 16 in each event.
At Pendleton Heights, today 5:15 p.m.: Anderson, Blue River Valley, Daleville, Eastern Hancock, Knightstown, Lapel, Lawrence North, Liberty Christian, Mt. Vernon, New Castle, Pendleton Heights and Shenandoah. Qualifiers advance to Ben Davis Regional on May 26.
At Shelbyville, today 5:30 p.m.: Baptist Academy, Beech Grove, Franklin Central, Greenfield-Central, Indianapolis Howe, Indianapolis Lutheran, Indianapolis Marshall, Indianapolis Scecina, Morristown, New Palestine, Roncalli, Shelbyville, Triton Central and Warren Central. Cougars girls basketball sets summer camp
The Greenfield-Central girls basketball camp for players in incoming kindergarten to Grade 8 will be June 1 to 4 at the high school fieldhouse.
Cost is $40, which includes a basketball, T-shirt and instructional emphasis on fundamentals.
Camp times are 8 to 9 a.m. (kindergarten to Grade 2); 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. (Grades 3 to 5); and 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. (Grades 6 to 8).
