CUMBERLAND — A high-speed pursuit of two armed robbery suspects ended with a minor crash just inside Hancock County in Cumberland.
Two men police believe were fleeing the scene of a robbery in Marion County were taken into custody after they crashed their silver Chevrolet Impala into a pile of rocks near county roads 700W and 100N, officers said.
Several law enforcement agencies, including the Cumberland Police Department, Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and Indianapolis Metropolitan Police, were involved in the chase, which reached speeds of 100 mph, officers said.
No injuries were reported. The suspects’ identities were not available at press time.
