Senator signed law that allowed discrimination

To the editor:

Sen. Mike Crider, Native Americans’ rights to worship were already protected under the National Religious Freedom Restoration Act signed by President Clinton.

That law was not intended as a legal defense against charges of discrimination; the law you signed was created for that very purpose. Glad you care about the rights of Native Americans. Please show you have the same concern for the rights of your gay and lesbian constituents.
