Doris Ann (White) Cory, 83, of Morristown, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She was born on Aug. 1, 1931, in Indianapolis, as the daughter of James B. and Mary E. (McNeece) White. Doris married Fred B. Cory on May 13, 1952.
Doris is survived by her children, Myla A. (Mark) Palmer, Mary B. (Tom) Navel, Mack B. (Lynn) Cory, and Mickey W. (Danielle) Cory; siblings, Betty Hallam, Wanda Taylor, Helen Andrews, Jimmy White, and Judy Norris; a daughter-in-law; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren with two more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred B. Cory; son, Michael J. Cory; parents, James B. and Mary E. (McNeece) White; siblings, Mary Alice Morical, Patricia Paul, Barbara Roby, and Bobby White, and Lois Margaret.
Visitation will be held from 4- 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, at the mortuary. Pastor Joshua Hahn will be officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Cemetery in Lawrence, Indiana.
