Track: Richmond International Raceway (oval, 0.75 miles)
Race distance: 300 miles, 400 laps
Last year: Joey Logano raced to the second of his five 2014 victories. After the race, Marcos Ambrose punched Casey Mears in the face.
Last week: Matt Kenseth won the rain-delayed race at Bristol to end a 51-event victory drought.
Fast facts: Defending series champion Kevin Harvick and Jimmie Johnson share the series victory lead with two. Harvick won the 2013 race. Brad Keselowski won in September at the track to complete a Team Penske sweep. Four-time Richmond winner Kyle Busch is sidelined after breaking his right leg and left foot in the Xfinity opener at Daytona. Denny Hamlin is from nearby Chesterfield. Richard Petty won a record 13 times at the track.

Run to Remember to honor lost lives
The third annual Run to Remember will be May 9 at Greenfield-Central High School.
Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for students. Packet pickup and registration are at 7:30 a.m. race day, with the race beginning at 9 a.m.
The Run to Remember was conceived by the families of Zach Lett, Todd Lewis and Benjamin Culver, three young men whose lives were cut short.
All race proceeds are equally divided between the Greenfield-Central High School track and field program and the memorial scholarships of Zach Lett, Todd Lewis and Benjamin Culver, all of whom were Greenfield-Central students.
