NEW PALESTINE — Frenzy Animal Rescue is hosting a fundraiser dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at the Lions Club in New Palestine, 5242 W. U.S. 52.

The event is the shelter’s way of raising funds for the rescue’s spay/neuter program and also helps low-income residents in Hancock County get medical care for their pets.

Tickets cost $8 for adults and $3 for children.

Admission to the event includes dinner, salad, garlic bread, coffee, tea, punch and water. There also will be a silent auction and a cutest dog contest.

Family and friends can vote for their favorite dog photo for 50 cents. The winner will receive a large basket loaded with dog items. There also will be door prizes and a large can for donations of items from the rescue’s wish list, which can be found under the donations tab at frenzyrescue.com.
