GREENFIELD — A Fortville man accused of violently pinching the genitals of a young boy was found guilty of battery on a child Tuesday at the conclusion of a one-day trial.
The Class D felony conviction means Stephen Partlow II, 35, faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
According to court documents, Partlow assaulted a toddler he was watching after the child wet the bed. A family member reportedly found the boy’s injuries and took him to a local doctor for examination.
The case was heard by a jury in Hancock Circuit Court on Tuesday. Partlow will return to Judge Richard Culver’s courtroom today for sentencing.
