Darcey O. (Summers) Irving, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, April 13, 2015, at Community Hospital North. She was born on May 9, 1940, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as the daughter of Cletus and Marjorie (Moore) Razet.
She graduated from Greenfield High School in 1958 and received her degree from Indiana Business College.
She was a homemaker and a member of Eden United Methodist Church and past member of Psi Iota Xi Sorority. Darcey enjoyed bird watching and loved her dogs and animals. She also received a certificate of merit from L.S. Ayres & Co. for her paintings.
Darcey is survived by her son, Price C. (Elaine) Irving of Greenfield; mother Marjorie Razet of Carmel, Indiana; stepsister Phyllis (Neal) Millbauer of Michigan; and grandchildren, Tyson, Michael, and Curtiss.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cletus Razet; and stepbrother Richard Razet.
Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2015, at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield, IN, 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2015, also at the mortuary. Pastor Jeri Thomas will be officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
