Roger Allen Slifer, 60, of Morristown, died Monday, March 30, 2015. He was born Nov. 11, 1954, in Shelbyville, the son of Robert E. and Hazel M. (Tillison) Slifer.
Roger is survived by his father of Morristown; sisters, Connie E. Carlton and Linda (Anthony) Mummert, both of Morristown; brother, Michael D. (Emma) Slifer of San Antonio, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and a brother-in-law.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2015, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the funeral homes, with Pastor Fred Hickman officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
