Delbert S. Free, 85, of Ingalls, died, Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born Oct. 19, 1929, in Connersville, to the late Husey and Mary Francis (McGee) Free.
Delbert served as a Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War.
Delbert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joanna (Sylvester) Free; sons William J. Free of Franklin, Ohio, and Mark E. Free of Ingalls; one grandson; half-brother Phil (Francis) Free of Ingalls; and half-sister Opal.
He was preceded in death by sisters Irene and Hazel; and half-sister Betty.
Friends may call from 1-2 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. A graveside service will take place at 2:45 p.m. at Menden Cemetery, Pendleton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
