Virginia Mae Reedy, 93, of Knightstown, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at Henry County Hospital. She was born Jan. 22, 1922, in Ruffsdale, Pennsylvania, to the late J.B. and Flora Lillian (Smith) Thompson.
Survivors include sister-in-law Betty Thompson of Hunker, Pennsylvania; six nieces and nephews; one great-niece, all of Greenfield; and three great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ira Reedy in 1991; a daughter Nancy Lee Borg; son-in-law Ray Borg; a sister Margaret June Estelle; brothers William Thompson and James Thompson.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the funeral home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with the Rev. Eric Haler officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown.
