GREENFIELD — One of the 12 defendants facing drug charges for their roles in a Spice-manufacturing operation in New Palestine has agreed to plead guilty to maintaining a common nuisance, Prosecutor Brent Eaton said.
Lillian Bledsoe of Indianapolis will have a Class D felony added to her record, which carries a penalty of six months to three years in prison.
Bledsoe will serve a 365-day sentence with all remaining days suspended to probation.
“The conviction will be treated as a misdemeanor and a condition of the agreement is that she is to testify at any future trial,” Eaton said.
Stacy Jaynes of Indianapolis, another co-defendant, was given a diversion on her case, Eaton said.
The other defendants are accused of either manufacturing Spice at a New Palestine home in the 4500 block of South County Road 650W or being involved in operations at an Indianapolis warehouse where the drugs were packaged, court documents state.
