Local students named to college dean’s lists
Franklin College
Franklin College has announced its dean’s list for the fall semester. Students named to the dean’s list have achieved academic distinction by earning a 3.5 grade-point average or above.
The following students have been named to the dean’s list:
Caitlyn Mae Cherry, a freshman, is the daughter of Chris and Cristi Cherry of New Palestine.
Cassidy Kaye Cherry, a freshman, is the daughter of Chris and Cristi of New Palestine.

Virginia Military Institute
The following Virginia Military Institute cadets us among the 768 cadets who were recently named to the dean’s list for the first semester of academic year 2014-15. To be eligible for the dean’s list, a cadet must have a term GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and no grade below C.
Nathan P. Sitzman, a junior from New Palestine, is majoring in International Studies. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. John R. Sitzman.
