GREENFIELD — Tim Renshaw, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a veteran of the broadcasting industry, presented his “I am American” program to Kiwanis recently.

Renshaw retired from Greenfield-Central High School, where he taught for 15 years after having served as a consultant. During that time, Renshaw was responsible for starting both the radio and television programs for the school system.

Before his responsibilities with the school system, he was with Time Warner Cable, where he was operations manager and co-hosted “The Coffee Club,” a local talk show. He taught broadcasting at Walker Career Center and was news director of WSMJ radio in Greenfield. During the five-plus years at WSMJ, he held every job except chief engineer and station manager.
