GREENFIELD — The Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church will host an old-fashioned sock hop Saturday.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the church’s family life center, located at 3179 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield.
Be prepared to enjoy some 1950s music spun by DJ Rob Hart. Nickel hot dogs, 10-cent Cokes and Nehi orange drinks will be available for purchase.
Singer Stacy Boyd also will join the event, and there will be a display of pictures of many of the congregation as they looked in the ’50s.
Attendees are encouraged to bring memorabilia of the ’50s era with them to the event.
